Our mission

Most people setting up a first home gym are choosing between products they've never used, based on marketing copy written by the people selling them. PeakForm exists to close that gap: we research equipment against a fixed set of criteria — build quality, space requirements, beginner friendliness, and value — and publish what we find, including where a popular product falls short.

How we evaluate equipment

Every product page and buying guide is built against the same evaluation criteria, detailed on our editorial policy page. We distinguish clearly between products a member of our team has physically tested and research-based recommendations built from verified specifications and pricing — each page states which applies.

How we make money

PeakForm is reader-supported. When you buy something through one of our Amazon links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which products we recommend or how we describe their tradeoffs — see our affiliate disclosure for the full policy.

Content update philosophy

Pricing and availability change constantly on Amazon. Every product page shows a "last checked" date, and we recheck featured products and guides on a rolling basis rather than publishing once and leaving them untouched.
